Dynamics of Neutrino Oscillations and the Cosmological Constant Problem (by Ervin Goldfain): Abstract: The cosmological constant problem continues to represent a major challenge for theoretical physics and cosmology. The main difficulty arises from the large numerical discrepancy between observational limits of the cosmological constant and quantum predictions based on gravitational effects of the vacuum energy. In this work we argue that the experimental value of this constant may be recovered from the dynamics of neutrino oscillations. http://prespacetime.com/index.php/pst/article/view/166
Nonlinear Theory of Elementary Particles Part VIII: Nonlinear Quantum Electron Equation (by Alexander G. Kyriakos): Abstract: The derivation of nonlinear quantum electron equation in the framework of nonlinear theory of elementary particles (NTEP) is presented. It can help to understand many aspects of the quantum description of elementary particles. In particular, it is shown that the field self-action is “the mechanism”, which introduces the mass into the quantum electron equation. This mechanism has a similarities with the Higgs mechanism of mass generation, however it is not needed a Higgs boson. The results of the experiments, which were set until now, to find the Higgs's boson, are negative. At the same time the NTEP has not difficulties, which will appear in Standard Model theory, if Higgs's boson is not discovered. http://prespacetime.com/index.php/pst/article/view/169
The Solution of the “Light Clocks Paradox” (by Amrit S. Sorli, Dusan Klinar, Davide Fiscaletti): Abstract: In the 20th century, physics has understood space and time as being coupled into a “space-time”, a fundamental arena in which everything takes place. Space-time was considered to have three spatial dimensions and one temporal dimension. Out of the mathematical formalism for the fourth space-time component X4 = ict one can conclude that time t is only a numerical order of material change, i.e., the motion that we obtain with clocks. Time is not a 4th dimension of space. For the description of the Special Theory of Relativity it is here proposed an Euclidian 3D space whilst time t is merely a numerical order of a photon motion in a 3D space. This view solves the “light clock paradox”. http://prespacetime.com/index.php/pst/article/view/170
Bianchi Type-III Cosmic Strings and Domain Walls Cosmological Models in Self-creation Cosmology (by Shivdas D Katore, A. Y. Shaikh, M. M. Sancheti, N. K. Sarkate): Abstract: Bianchi type-III space-time is considered in the presence of cosmic string source and thick domain walls in Barber’s (Gen. Relativ. Gravit. 14:117, 1982) Second self-creation theory of gravitation. With the help of special law of gravitation for Hubble’s parameter proposed by Bermann (Nuovo Cimento 74 B: 182, 1983) cosmological models with negative constant deceleration parameter are obtained. It is interesting to note the cosmological models, obtained in both the cases, are identical. Some physical and kinematical properties of the models are discussed. http://prespacetime.com/index.php/pst/article/view/167
